විද්යාලයීය පරිසර නියමු කණ්ඩායම පසුගිය දා සිය මූලික පදක්ම් ලැබීය. විදුහල්පති තුමාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් පැවති මෙම පදක්කම් පැළඳවීමේ අවස්ථාවට කණ්ඩායෙමේ සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන්ගේ දෙමාපියන්ද සහභාගී වූහ.

බ/ඔරුබැදිවැව ද්විතියික පාසලේ ඉදිකළ මහින්දෝදය තාක්ෂණික විද්යාගාරය අතිගරු ජනාධිපති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිදුන් අතින් 2014 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 11 වන දින පෙරවරුවේ සිසු අය්තියට පත් කෙරිණ. අධ්යාපන අමාත්ය ගරු බන්ධුල ගුණවර්ධන මැතිතුමන් විදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්ය ගරු ජී.එල්. පීරිස් මැතිතුමන් ඇතුළු සම්භාවනීය අමුත්තන් රැසක් මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී විය.
නව විද්යාගාර ගොඩනැගිල්ල ගණිතාගාරයක් ජීව/රසායන විද්යාගාරයක් තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ විද්යාගාරයක් භාෂාගාරයක් හා ණැනස දුරස්ථ අධ්යාපන මධ්යස්ථානයකින් සමන්විත වේ.
අතිගරු ජනාධිපතිතුමන් සමග සමූහ ඡායාරූප කිහිපයකට පෙනීසිටීමේ අවස්ථාවද මෙහිදී සිසු සිසුවියන්ට අවස්ථාව උදාවිය.

- English Camp
Camping is a process in which students can get together and work in a stress free learning situation cooperativly and collaboratively. Here students are given more oppotunities to acquire language meaningfully in an authentic atmosphere. This also ensures that the leaning bydoing.
With intention of giving more oppotunities for students to develop language skills within a set time frame, the English unit of B/Orubendiwewa secondary school organized an English camp for the students of grade nine classes on the 1st of July 2014 from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm in the school grounds. The chief guest was Mr. R.B. Jayawardena, the divisional director of Rideemaliyadda. The Principal Mr. Gamini Amarasinghe also participated in this occation. Mr. K.H.M. Karunathilake, the teacher of English of B/ Bandaranayake M.V., Mr.Madugalla, the teacher of English of B/Dambagolla K.V., Mr. Asoka Pathirana, the teacher of English of English of B/Dehigolla M.V., Mr. Saman, the teacher of English of B/Dambana K.V., Miss. Sakalasooriya, the teacher of English of B/Bathalayaya M.V., Miss Samarakoon, the teacher of English of B/Mahiyanaganaya National College participated as resource teachers in this camp.
The e camp was full of activities such as language games, action rhyms, songs, chants etc. Children enjoyed very much and had a lot of learning experiences. The principal, Vice principals, teachers in the staff and all the teachers of English of our school gave their fullest support to make the camp a sucsess.
